FIL Update!
AND ITS GOOD!
He's HOME!! Yeah, I know he just had brain surgery on Sunday, and he went home this afternoon (Tues.)!!! how cool is that? And my ever-so-loving and sacrifical SIL, made the prognosis out to be MUCH worse than it truly is....WORST CASE senario is that he has only a year...but that is absolute WORST case...she told us that he *MIGHT* have a year...see the drama building already?
I HATE drama, honestly I do. I like to read about it and watch it on TV, but living it SUCKS! That is why we don't talk to DH's mom. His sister WAS avoiding us but ya know she's playing heroine to her father (that she loves, no, wait! she hates him, no, that was last week...or maybe..ah hell...) so we have to talk to her. She invited us to stay at her apartment with some strange guy that she's living with that we've never met....we declined the invitation, DH did anyway, and he was SUPER polite, I was sort of shocked! At any rate.....we're leaving Dec 7th and my laptop will be strapped to my ass so that it's easily accessible.
Stay tuned for ranting from the turtlemama all about stupid large corporations that just want my money.....ooooh it's sooo good!

Yes, stay out of the hurricane and remain in the eye. Drama is absolutely NOT fun.
Glad to hear FIL is home and doing well.
wow, it's good to hear he is doing so well. We have a couple of drama queens in our family. We can really get a story running.

I am with you--I HATE the family drama. But fear not, you're not alone, I think every family has a Drama Queen. Mine sure does, ugh.
