It's gonna rain this weekend, ALL weekend...
sucky huh? Yup, I thought so too!
I have one more day until my birthday...I'm about to be 25 years old. GAH! I'm FINALLY an adult-adult. People look at your differently when you tell them you're 25 with two kids. You tell someone you're 23 with two kids and they immediately ask, "Oh? How old are they?"....like, "Oh, geezus girl how old were you when you got pregnant?" You say, "I'm 25 and have two chilren" People just sort of say, "Oh how nice!" They might ask their ages but it isn't (most of the time anyway) to gain information on how old you were when you had your first.
I'm actaully really glad that I had my first child at 19. Granted, I wouldn't recommend the practice to every 19 yr old out there, but it worked for me. I now have a great 5 yr old (he was born 3 weeks before my 20th bday..so I got to be a statistic for 3 whole weeks, I'm sorta proud of that..LOL) I have a rambunctious almost 2 yr old (born 2 weeks AFTER by birthday, one day I'll have kids born in the summer, I SWEAR!!) And if all goes well BT will be out of the house when I'm only THIRTY EIGHT!!! that's right folks, when I'm 38 my oldest will be leaving and I'll be sort one kid, WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I have friends who are just starting families at 36!! Think about that.....How cool will it be for me to be able to finally relax and be my own person...expecially when, by the time I'm 38, I should know who I am...or be pretty close to knowing! See, that was why had chidren so young. I was hoping to maybe have one more before I turned 25 but I went to school instead. Now, I get to fight with myself about whether I even want anymore or not. I'll keep fighting with myself and if I have another, y'all will be the first to know!
Well, I'm off to write out bills and mail out checks...I hope the refund comes in Friday...it's my birthday, the husband better buy me something GRAND!

I have a friend who is having her second child at 37! Argh, I think you totally have it right. I'm 25, I have a girl who will be 2 in May.
We are still young enough to remember what it's like to be a child, and we will be cool grandparents with energy to burn.

Hooray for us! I had my first at 20 and 2nd at 22. By the time I'm 40, they'll both be at college!!! One of many advantages of being a young mom IMO. Woohoo!
Plus, my mom isn't like some 75 yr old grandmother who can barely lift her grandkid. She has some friends who have kids in their 30s and are kinda waiting like, any day now, I'm not getting any younger!
I'm with ya on the having kids young thing, as long as your in a stable position to do so...not that I was, but um, yea, its working
My daughter was born two weeks before the Senior Prom...Josh was born right before I turned 24. We want another-we think...'rassling with the idea, I don't wanna be 30 having a baby, so this is it...

i had my first when i was 19. 19? i think so. anyhoo. my youngest is 5. 5? dayum. i can't think today! yes, he IS five. ohkaynowww, when he's 20 (15 years) i'll beeeee - augh, math - wait. how old am i? 29. 28?

I completely agree with you on the having kids early thing..I don't have any yet, but I want them..and in the not too distant future too
