I’m all registered for classes….Design Concepts, and Art History through the 16th century. This should be fun. I’ll have a TON of papers to write for Art History. The teacher is one of those that puts something up to read then tells you to write about it. Which makes no sense. Read something on a subject that someone else wrote, then you, and 15 other students, should write about what you just read. How in the hell does a teacher like that not gouge her eyes out with her pen? Or hell, I’d probably just use my fingernails..how boring to read something, the same something, 16 different ways…and do it the same every semester. Yuck!
So yesterday was BT’s birthday. I forgot about it. Yes, I know I’m his mother, I gave birth to him. But it doesn’t matter because I didn’t realize that his birthday was Tuesday until Sunday. No plans for a party, no presents, nothing. But he remembered, of course, and I told him that we’d have to wait on his party. He seemed a bit upset (who wouldn’t be?!). But then he got a gift in the mail from FIL and SMIL. At first he opened a Ralph Lauren T-shirt with a fish on it and exclaimed, “Oh its just clothes.” Then I explained why clothes for presents was such a cool idea, I think he might have gotten the idea….then he opened the card that was enclosed in his little box, and found $50 to Toys R Us…he was quite please with the whole gift card concept! LOL We are having a party but it will be a week from this Saturday.

Oh No! Poor BT! Hehe, at least he’s not too upset.
Oh yeah… I forgot the “Happy Birthday”
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That class load sounds way more exciting than mine…I’ve got some sort of accounting, money&banking, microeconomics, intro to computers, and public relations.
Have a good birthday when the time comes
I’m sure he didn’t even notice you *forgot*…hey, at least I know I’m not the only *not perfect* person roaming the world
I am in the midst of applying and all that good stuff. I decided to go to Art Institute Online. I got the cirriculum in the mail yesterday – some of the classes are freaking me out. Physics? Chemistry? Calculus? I don’t know how I’m going to handle those in six-week classes without an actual professor! No rest for the weary! Good luck with the start of your classes. Let me know how it goes – I’m a little nervous, and I still have until April : ) ~Andi
Art History sounds really interesting–at least compared to a couple of the classes I’m taking this quarter. Have fun with it!
