  • My feet are cold and it might snow....there that is today's entry.

    Oh, and almost all of my stock is sold SWEET MOTHER OF EVERYTHING HOLY!!!!!!!!!!!!  Man, if I can just get rid of all this shit I'll be so stinkin' happy!!!!  You see what my life has become?  A myriad of ups and downs over the gawd damn price of fabric...yes, this is me.

  • Well, we have heat but the dumbass put the compacitor on backwards so the fan runs constantly...I should charge his sorry ass for all that fucking electricity he's causing me to use..sorry bastard.

    He also took us for a huge amount of money that I wasn't EVEN expecting to spend, then he played the stupid fucking games of "well we didn't REALLY say that" So I just told him, "Ok fine whatever, screw me over, fuck it!"  So he screwed me over and all was well....rat bastards. Ok, in his defense he didn't fuck me as hard as he could have.....though he came awfully close to me gouging his eyes out with that socket wrench of his...

    The GOB sale is doing fairly well, not as well as I'd like but, eh at least I have boxes of fabric leaving my house!  My store was mainly for mamas who sew cloth diapers so that's why I didn't put the link up, probably not a whole lot that the average schmoe would really want...unless you need velcro, or rather something BETTER than velcro (aplix) but I digress...you sure you don't need some V E L C R O?!

    So sis and I went exploring Monday to find out where all the cool stores are near her.  We found quite a few, so that was good!  Her place is AWESOME, thanks to me! I helped her decorate and so far so good...Maybe I do have a thing for decorating after all?! LOL

    Take Care all I need to go to bed and all that jazz, I update late (or early depending on how you look at it )

  • Anyone need fabric?  I'm selling TONS of it!  I had an online fabric store but it is now going out of business, I just can't do it all...my superturtlemama cape is being retired...from now on I'll just be 'Turtlemama, but a damn good one at that!'

    If anyone wants some good elastic or Aplix or maybe even some hemp fleece and or Malden Mills Micro Fleece (this stuff is what Lands' End calls their bunny belly fleece, or some other cutesy name lol) let me know!  I'll be more than happy to sell ya some! LOL

    Ok, signing off!  Go check out the turtlemama.com/blog page for my weekend update....

    ANYWAY!  It's called 'CrazyHipBlogMamas' and you can get there by going HERE; http://www.turtlemama.com/ring.html  I'll add almost anyone who wants to join, unless you're some weird freak who isn't a mama.  Heck, I might (If I'm feeling overly kind) add a dad or two, just try it!  At any rate it connects Xanga and non-Xanga users so that's pretty cool!
    And, if you WANT to (you don't HAVE to) you can go check out the turtlemama.com blog HERE;
    http://www.turtlemama.com/blog  The entries in there differ from the ones here, well, I have a TON to say and I don't want to bore everyone.  So, my adoring fans can check that one out, also and comment and all that fun stuff!

    Sorry for the advertising post, but dangit the only thing I make off of any of this is an addition to that chip on my shoulder, so go make it bigger!!!

  • A Conversation With BT;

    Synopsis- While trying to save money, I decided to shop only at Wal-Mart for my groceries (yeah we have a super one, cool huh?).  Wal-Mart does automatic debits when you write a check.  My grocery bill is HUGE, thus meaning that in order to save money, by not shopping at Publix, (which is unGAWDly expensive), and floating a check for a couple of days.  I needed to wait until payday and go to Wal-Mart.  This in turn, meant that the only true food we had in the house was of the dinner variety.  The children had things for Breakfast and lunch, but I had some slim pickin's(I'm picky).  So my daily ritual for that week involved me going into the kitchen, opening the pantry, then moving to the fridge then finally, the freezer, only to turn and walk out empty-handed (after finding the kids something, gawd knows they are ALWAYS hungry).  So Thursday of that week I walk into the kitchen and start my ritual of opening the pantry.  BT and LT ALWAYS follow me into the kitchen, they have radar, no matter where those children are in the house (and no matter if they are sleeping or awake) they hear me walk into the kitchen.

    Me (opening the pantry door); <heavy sigh, silent cursing>, "Hmmmm..."

    BT (walking into the kitchen and coming up behind me as I close the door); "Any food in there yet, Mom?"

    Me (stifiling heaves of laughter); "No." ;Opening the fridge door;

    BT (again standing behind me, with his brother behind him); "None in there either, huh?"

    Me (laughing outloud at this point); "Nope, but I'm going shopping tomorrow, YAY!"

    BT; YAY!

    The truly sad thing about the whole encounter was that BT was absolutely SERIOUS when he asked if there was food in there yet.
    And just so everyone knows, we haven't had one of those weeks since...we re-financed the house that week and have saved $300 on our mortgage payment each month.

  • Clean Your Toys!

    My children have the cleanest toys in the county, how do I know this?  Why, I'VE WASHED THEM ALL IN MY FREAKIN' WASHER!!  It seems that evertime I pull out clothes from the washer to go to the dryer, I find a new toy.  Tonight, a nice wooden round dowel from one of the MANY wooden building block sets he received for Xmas.  Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE the natural toys that make kids think, but I DON'T love pulling soggy cold wooden dowels out of my washer, I'm sure the washer doesn't apreciate the gesture, either.  Maybe I just need a REALLY big house with a 'Children's Wing' and they can just keep their toys over there....sort of like in the 'The Toy'.  Remeber how that kid had a HUGE room of nothing but TOYS!?  Man, I want a room like that...oh, well maybe the second Thursday of next week when I hit the lottery...it's in my horoscope, really!

  • Well, school is out and I'm getting bored.  I still haven't registered for classes, yet.  I figure that I'll do that next week sometime...I hope!  I'm also still up in the air as to which courses I should take.  I'm thinking about maybe just taking all Interior Architecture courses, but then there will be a time when I actually HAVE to take that stupid sketching course and all those Art History courses...so we'll see.  Depends on how my children treat me this week and most of next...I may be too tired to take ANYTHING! (as IF!)

    Thank You, to everyone who had wonderful things to say about my website, I'm pretty proud of it and personally, find nothing wrong with showing people something you're proud of.  So,
